About
I’m preparing to begin my fourth year of medical school at Western University and have decided to pursue a career in radiology. With the upcoming CaRMS cycle, I’m eager to find mentorship to help guide me through this exciting but challenging phase of my career. I was born and raised in Windsor and completed my undergraduate degree at Brock University before attending Western for medical school, where I now live in London. During medical school, I have been actively involved in student leadership, serving as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) representative on my school’s student council. I was also a founding member of the Black Medical Student Association and later served as its Vice President for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Decolonization (EDID). Outside of academics, I grew up playing basketball and later joined my university’s track and field team, participating in shot put and serving as team captain. As the first person in my family to attend medical school, I am determined to make the most of this opportunity. I look forward to receiving mentorship from Black physicians who have navigated this process, with the hope of giving back in the same way one day.
