Building a future where Black physicians lead and Black communities thrive.
BPC is a national organization working to strengthen Black physician leadership, improve Black health, and influence more equitable healthcare systems.
Our Mission
We unite Black physicians and medical learners across Canada. We support them in attaining leadership, maintaining lifelong careers, and enhancing healthcare systems. We collaboratively disrupt systemic anti-Black racism in medicine through education, medical practice, mentorship and partnership, capacity building, research, and advocacy.
Our Vision
We work towards vibrant, anti-racist, and decolonial healthcare systems that support the leadership of Black physicians and Black peoplesʼ health and wellness.

Our Strategic Plan 2025-2030
We are also excited to unveil the five strategic priorities that will guide our work from 2025 to 2030.

Help strengthen Black physician leadership and Black health across Canada.
Support programs that increase representation of Black physicians, improve health outcomes in Black communities, and advance equity in healthcare.
